I love My Fish Dish. There, I said it. This is not some passing, teenage fling. No, this is deep, true and meaningful seafood affection. This is a love that will last the ages.
The good people at Bristol Seafood are seriously soft pedaling their product. My Fish Dish? More like My Fish Salvation.
The first thing you should know about me is I can't cook. I wish I could cook. I've tried to cook. On the rare occasions I do try to cook, I can generally put something on the table that is edible. Generally. But it's never an unforgettable journey of culinary bliss.
Like My Fish Dish is.
I first encountered My Fish Dish when I received a Classic Box from Professor T's. I got the Lemon & Herb Butter Scallops, and the Blackened and Smoked Butter Salmon. They both sat in my freezer for a while. Then, one evening, when my wife (our family chef) had a headache, and didn't feel like preparing dinner, I told her to take a couple of over the counter pain relievers, lie down and relax. I got this.
I grabbed the My Fish Dish Lemon and Herb Butter Scallops, and quickly defrosted them by setting them in a bowl of cold water for about 15 minutes.
After that, it was into the baking dish, into the oven and into my heart.
A couple weeks later, it was the Blackened and Smoked Butter Salmon. Similar result. Absolutely one of the most delicious seafood dishes I've ever eaten. And the fact that I prepared myself? Mind-blowing.
And the fact that My Fish Dish is sustainable, just makes it all the more delicious. Like all Bristol Seafood products, My Fish Dish meets the Marine Stewardship Council's chain of custody standard, and is Fair Trade certified. There are a lot of shady practices in the seafood industry these days, and I don't want anything to do with them. With Bristol Seafood--and Professor T's, of course--I don't have to worry about that.
My love for My Fish Dish is undying, but I'm not the jealous type. I'm willing to share my affection. I encourage you to try My Fish Dish yourself. There's enough love to go around for all of us.
It doesn't get any easier than this.
